After School Clubs Golf Coaching.

Ages 5 -7 In this age group we concentrate on giving kids the most enjoyable and fun introduction to golf they could have. The main focus is on teaching kids something we call fundamental movement skills ( FMS ), this is basically everything such as running, catching, striking skills, balance, etc and what it does is helps your child to develop their overall athletic ability. Research has shown us that a better range of FMS a child develops at an early age the easier and quicker they learn sport skills later on in life. We also use a lot of TRI-Golf Equipment which is based around playing games to develop basic golf skills. This is the best way to get your child involved in golf and gives them a great foundation to start from.

  After School Clubs Golf Coaching

Ages 8 – 11 The focus with this age group is still on developing the child's Fundamental Movement Skills but with more emphasis placed on learning the proper golf technique. Your Child will learn all the necessary basics to learn how to play golf including: Full Swing, Pitching, Chipping, Bunker Play and Putting. There will also be the opportunity to experience getting out on to the golf course and learn about some basic rules and etiquette. Your child will also receive their own progress folder to help them monitor how they are doing and to also keep parents involved about what they are doing.

After School Clubs Golf Coaching

Ages 12 + The emphasis for this age group is to continue to develop and refine the child's individual technique and understanding in all areas of the game. There will also be advice on competing, preparation, practise planning, the mental game and health and fitness. Players will be expected to keep records of their practise plans and also on course stats to help us help them to fulfil their potential.
