.............. Golf coach Stuart Rafferty has his sights set on unearthing Cumbria’s next golf stars after being appointed head teaching pro at Carlisle Driving Range. Stuart has been assistant pro to Steve Harrison at Eden Golf Club at Crosby-on-Eden for the last 16 years. He admitted the chance to take on the top job at Carlisle Driving Range was too great to resist as it will give him the chance to expand his coaching career. At 34, he has been responsible for helping to coach beginners, juniors and members at Eden, and was credited by Carlisle pro Peter Richardson for helping him to prepare for his promising European Tour debut in Dubai.
