Notes

Definition: (Club Competition)

Competitions Abandoned

The following procedures will be invoked when the need arises to ‘call-off' a competition, which is already underway, due to the onset of bad weather.

1/ Thunder and/or lightening over or in the area of the course will constitute an immediate abandonment of play. All players will leave the course. A claxon will be sounded from the Clubhouse.

2/ Due to heavy rain or snow, if any putting green becomes ‘covered' such that the “hole” is completely surrounded and no line of relief from the condition can be found. Any of the persons listed below should be notified, they may subsequently make a decision to abandon the competition and players will be notified.

Any member of the Pro-Shop staff. Any member of the Men's Committee.

3/ If possible an abandoned competition will be re-run at a later date. Failing this, entry fees will be reimbursed or credited to the next Men's competition.
